The Simgeneering Engine Display module provides the functionality of the engine status display part of the G1000 MFD, formatted to fit the screen of the Logitech flight instrument panel. Some functions and displays have been modified to fit the smaller flight instrument panel screen.
Aircraft
The G1000 Engine Display currently supports the following aircraft:
- Cessna 172S
- Cessna 182T
- Beech Baron B58
- Beech Kingair B200
More aircraft types will be added in future
Functions
The functionality included in the G1000 Engine Display is:
- Engine status indications (rpm, manifold pressure, fuel consumption etc.)
- Lean assist for piston aircraft
- Fuel remaining setpoint
Compatibility/Requirements
The FIP G1000 Emulator requires a PC running Windows, with one or more connected Logitech Flight Instrument Panels. The FIP G1000 Emulator 64-bit (v1.4.1) software is compatible with:
- MSFS 2020
- FSX
- Logitech flight instrument panel driver 8.0.124.0
- SPAD.Next v0.9.12.65
- Windows 10 or 11
- Java JRE 1.8.0_291 or later and Java 18.0.2 or later (both 32-bit and 64-bit Java JREs are needed)
- 1GB of RAM
- 10GB of hard disk space

To run the emulator software, the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is required. It is recommended to use JRE 18.
Pricing
A license for private use of the FIP G1000 Emulator software with the Engine Display module is USD39.95. If you already have a Simgeneering MFD module license, the price is reduced to USD29.95.
